Sorry for the lack of posts lately, but been real busy with studdies, kids, work & building our house. So not much scrapping has been going on.

I only have a couple of weeks left of studdies.

It's been a looooong 12mths, but when it's all over I'll be back into it again!!!

Retro Retreat!!!!

Scrapsidaisy held a retreat on the weekend

A RETRO RETREAT!!!!

OMG!! I had heaps of fun & meet some inspiring people!!
We were given a very generous welcome pack, full of lots of goodies!!

I participated in some awesome classes.
First class was with the very amazing & very talented Linda Baldock.

Anyway our first class was a Flooded Canvas & here is mine...

The second class was ran by another talented lady Kim Archer!!
For this class we created a little book "Come on get Happy"

Linda Baldock also taught the third class.
This class was about altering chipboard!!!
The chipboard we used was from 'Words Or Whatever - WOW'

Last but not least.......
We were given a challenge pack by Leisa the owner of Scrapsidaisy.
The challenge was we had to use a piece of every item in the pack to create something.

Here is my challenge LO I created....

And guess what I tied 2nd place with Kim Solomon who is part of the WOW Design Team!!!
And received a great prize.

I had sooooooooooo much fun with all the girls & would like to say a big 'THANK YOU' to Leisa at Scrapsidaisy for organizing this great weekend!!!

Can't wait till the next one, wooohooo bring it on!!!

Well I made a card lol

I don't know if you have noticed, but I haven't scrapped much lately!!!

Well I received a little surprise in the post the other day from
Imaginarium Designs
Because I posted their giveaway on my blog, they sent me some goodies!!
I had a little play with some of their fabulous Chippies.
This is some of the chipboard they sent me

And this is what I did with it......

These Tinie Chippies are so intricate. I used a little Mist & Stickles on it.
I also used on this card, Graphic 45, Jules Gems, Prima Ribbon, Green Tara & one of my new Martha Stewart punches!!

March LO for Scrapsidaisy's Challenge

Well I went & finished my own challenge on Friday night, at the Friday Night crop at Scrapsidaisy!!
I had a great night with the girls, as I always do.
Lots of laughs, Pizza & of course "CHOCOLATE"

Remember the challenge is "RED & WHITE"

And here is my take on my own challenge lol


I just love this photo of Brodie!!
The girls at work took this pic last year to put in Brodie's end of the year Portfolio folder for Daycare & as soon as I saw it, I had to have them email it to me.

Anyhoo...... I used wht CS & misted it, but used a apple bag as a mask & you can see I also included a bit of the apple bag as well. I have a little bit of Dusty on there. Some really old rubons I've had for yrs, flowers, twine, the LOVE word is old also, some flowers & Ruby Rock-It alpha's.
The banners are stickers from Jenni Bowlin Studio as well as the lil alpha's. Also put some little charms on there too.

March Swap at Scrapsidaisy

March's Swap will be a card swap!!!

A "VINTAGE" card swap. Your card can be of any subject eg: birthday, sympathy, congratulations etc......




* You only have to make the front of the cards as this cuts down on costs & postage. When you receive them you can then stick them down to any colored CS you like.
* The size of your card toppers are to be 4x6 inches
* It can be any subject, but they have to be all the same.So if there is 10 in the group you are to make 10 of the same cards.
* Total of 10 in the group or less.

Scrapsidaisy's March Challenge

I'm having a go at setting the Challenge this month!!

My challenge is a Colour Pallet.

Your main colours are "RED & WHITE".
You may use small amounts of neutral colours like black, cream & kraft.

Once Upon a Springtime.

Hi everyone!!!

Just want to show you a little project I did about a month or so ago & did post it on my blog.
I had the pleasure of playing with Graphic 45, Once Upon a Springtime range.
I just love it!!!
I created this Twiddleybitz Shadow Box.

I also used Glimmermist, Kindyglitz, Stickles, Prima Butterfly, Prima pearls & Greentara.
Also added one of my beaded hatpin.
And of course Graphic 45, Once Upon a Springtime



Oh & I received my yummy Dusty prize I won from Mistra Hoolahan today. I was very excited when I picked up my package.
Thanks Mistra I love it all!!!

Scrapsidaisy's Feb Challenge

The Feb challenge is up over at Scrapsidaisy.
The challenge was set by the ever so lovely Jules again & this is the criteria.....

For the February challenge I would like you to create your own background/patterned paper.
Sounds hard but not really.
You could stamp images, mist or ink masks or paint the background onto cardstock or a simple patterned paper. I am sure that there are many other techniques as well.
There will be a prize awarded for one lucky entrant - drawn randomly.
Pages must be uploaded by Feb 28 & the winner will be announced shortly after that.

I must say I had fun creating this background.

To create this look I used Shaving cream. I sprayed some on my CS then got my fingers in it & created swirls over the page. I then sprayed some Gimmermist over the shaving cream & splatted some Glimmerglam on there as well. Waited till it dried & then painted more Glimmerglam on the edges to create a boarder.
My LO smells soooo nice from the shaving cream LOL

Scrapsidaisy's Monthly Challenge

Challenges have started up over at Scrapsidaisy again!!!
